A succulent that is part of the milkweed family. This plant has thick, waxy green leaves that grow on vine-like hanging stems. Like airplants, the hoya kerrii is epiphytic, meaning it grows on trees from which they receive nutrients and physical support. Blooms a cluster of pink-red flowers in summer. Found in India and South East Asia. Available in 2 sizes. Plant shown is in 6 in. pot and roughly 5 in. tall.
Care:
Partial shade to partial sun
Water once a week in spring and summer
Keep dry in winter; or if kept indoors and heating system is used water once a month
Allow soil to dry between waterings; never let the roots sit too long in wet soil
Well-draining soil; cactus/succulent mix
