A low-maintence, fast-growing kalanchoe succulent that gives anyone a good introduction into caring for a plant. Its green, curving leaves look and feel like soft rubber and sprout new plants along its teethed edges. If one falls into the soil, it will quickly root and grow. Found in Madagascar. Care:

• Indirect/diffused lighting to partial sun

• Water once a week in spring and summer

• Keep dry in winter; or if kept indoors and heating system is used water once a month

• Allow soil to dry between waterings; never let the roots sit too long in wet soil

• Well-draining soil; cactus/succulent mix

• Protect from frost and triple-digit heat
