Known as ‘Elephant’s Bush’ as they are often fodder for elephant’s in the wild. A hardy succulent that grows like groundcover. This drought-friendly, heat-tolerant plant is slow-growing but definitely worth the wait every summer when it blooms small lavender flowers. Found in the Eastern Cape in South Africa. • Full sun to partial shade

• Water once every 1-2 weeks in the summer as long as it’s getting direct sunlight; if it’s being kept in partial shade, water once every 2 weeks

• Keep dry in the winter

• Protect from frost and cold nights
