Euphorbia Trigona 'Royal Red'
A cactiform euphorbia succulent. This euphorbia is easily confused for a cactus as it grows columnar, forms branches and has spines along its ridges. It is a deep red/burgundy and green color. Though it does not produce flowers like most euphorbias, it sprouts small leaves throughout spring and summer. It can grow up to 3 ft. or higher in time. Available in 2 sizes. Plant shown is in 4 in. pot and roughly 5-6 in. tall.
Caution: This plant contains a white, milky sap that is poisonous. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not ingest. Wear appropriate gloves when handling. If sap gets on skin, wash hands immediately and thoroughly.
Care:
Diffused/indirect lighting to full sun
Water once a week in spring and summer
Keep dry in winter; or if kept indoors and heating system is used water once a month
Allow soil to dry between waterings
Well-draining soil; cactus/succulent mix
